“City Limits” is a study of hidden London, and focuses on parts of London that are under threat from to the expansion of the City. The Square Mile was still spreading rapidly in 2007, when I started to develop this project. The City needed more places, needed to fit more people in, economic and physical growth was relentless. Neighboring areas become prime, and became places of speculative building by development companies. On the fringes of the City the dark haunts and passageways become quickly transformed.
